Located on the site of a former rice field in Nasu, the Art Biotop Water Garden brings together history and landscape, preserving nature through the artificial relocation of a forest. The trees and ponds are placed with exceptional precision, creating a dense, almost fantastical environment where waterproofing technologies ensure the coexistence of water and vegetation. This project erases the boundary between nature and human intervention, rethinking our perception of the landscape.
