The clients of Edition Office were moving, and wanted the new house to reflect this stage of their lives: autumn light, colour and texture. So the studio put the house in the middle of the site and the owners planted a new garden around it. Several of the trees came with them from their previous property.
The plan and section follow a simple, clear geometry, which keeps the garden next to the rooms at all times. From inside, the whole site can be read, both its length and its width.
