Five houses stand at the tail end of San Roque Lake, on a slope where bare granite comes out of the ground. The architects tried to disturb the soil as little as possible, so the white boxes are lifted up and hung over the rock, and narrow concrete stairs lead to the doors straight across the stone.
All the houses are the same white, but their shapes differ: each has its own sloping roof, and together they make an uneven silhouette, like a small village. Every house is split into a shared part and a private part, which is why the volumes come in pairs with a staircase between them. A path of concrete slabs runs across the lawn to the steps.
