The Yves Saint Laurent museum in Marrakech opened in autumn 2017. The building is by Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of Studio KO, and the exhibition and the shop were designed by scenographer Christophe Martin.
The collection belongs to the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent. It holds 5,000 items of clothing, 15,000 haute couture accessories and tens of thousands of sketches and other objects. The museum shows only a selection from it.
