This apartment building is squeezed between two seven-storey neighbours in Paris's 20th arrondissement. One is Haussmann-style, on rue des Pyrénées. The other, from the early 20th century, is brick with dressed stone. The street front is about 18 metres wide and faces south, while the rear faces north-east onto a shared, very green courtyard.
Both facades are glazed wall to wall and floor to floor. Nothing stands opposite, so the views from the flats run long. External blinds control the sun, and internal curtains close the rooms off at night.
