A two-storey concrete house right on Lake Elsensee, in Kagel near Grünheide. The neighbourhood is mostly summer and weekend houses, with the first year-round homes only starting to appear among them. This one was planned for short stays, and the owners intend to live in it permanently later.
The ground floor is glazed all the way round, so the lake is visible from anywhere on the plot. Above it sits a curved concrete volume on a cylindrical core, which gives the whole thing a mushroom shape. Upstairs, sliding doors and rotating walls let the rooms be rearranged.
