Designed for annual water sports competitions in Lucerne, Naturarena Rotsee is a prefabricated timber structure set on a concrete platform above the water. Sliding panels allow light and ventilation to be regulated, protecting the building when it is not in use and emphasizing its sculptural form. The interior includes areas for spectators, judges and timekeepers, finished in light wood that creates a warm, minimalist atmosphere.
