The house in Como sits among ordinary apartment blocks and looks like an outsider next to them. The street facade is blind, with no openings at all, and almost entirely clad in gray Canadian granite. Only the patio walls are finished in plain gray plaster.
Light comes from the other side and from above. The house opens into patios and windows on the opposite facade, and three large glass apertures in the roof sit over the living room, the kitchen and the master bedroom. The roofline undulates like the mountains around it, which gives the house its name. The same slopes and level changes cut the interior into sections, each reaching for daylight.
